I promised myself that this would be my last meal in Chowking Butuan (located along A.D. Curato). I love their food but can’t stand on how unsanitary the place. Even their comfort rooms smell bad. What’s more? It took quite a time for their service crew to clean the tables. This boils down to poor management. Call me too meticulous but I can’t compromise when it comes to cleanliness. Are our City health officials monitoring this place?

Yes, their hygiene standards are not good. Also quite often they have run out of some of the menu items. The Butuan ChowKing is not a very well-managed shop.
the least you could have done, (in the spirit of public concern) is to call the attention of the manager or the store keeper. You could have done a big opportunity suggesting or reminding them of their stores upkeep and cleanliness….and in the process somehow protect the community from the negligence of the store.
How can you just let the event passed and treated the incident as just another blog item to write about???
I have txted ChowKing’s Head office number (0920 9502805) with Negative feedback on 5 occasions regarding their Butuan store, but nothing gets done. I have spoken to 3 different Store Managers but again, nothing gets done. I think that I have performed my community obligations?
I have also txted my comments on other stores, which in 99% of cases, have been Positive. If only the Butuan stores maintained the same high standards of other ChowKing stores that I have eaten in. If only….
I think that it’s a case of both Head Office and Local management not really caring.
I have called their attention- not only twice but for so many times.
